Purchasing Management work in PJ for MNC FMCG leader .
Your new company
This multinational company in the FMCG industry has been serving customers for over 130 years. Their brands and global products have ensured the continued trust of customers throughout the years, they expand and grow continuously. Based on Petaling Jaya, they are now looking for an experienced Procurement Manager (Indirect Procurement) to take on roles of senior and key decisions of the company.
Your new role
Managing the procurement team while reporting to the manager of the supply chain in Malaysia and Singapore. You will be assisted in your roles in your Procurement Assistant Manager who will report directly to you. You will be responsible for key roles such as procurement, selection and multiple large projects. You will be required to implement and achieve the goals set for the team and the local leadership competition in the supply market. Being an independent individual self with a background in regional and handling Category Buyer will contribute greatly to the role.
What you need to succeed
You will need a minimum of 8 years experience in buying indirect goods and services with 3 years experience in a management role working. You will need to have prior experience in the FMCG industry. We need someone who can keep pace with the face of the corporate culture while managing internal and external stakeholders. Strong leadership with a target driven approach will result in an excellent individual performance and the company, which will be rewarded. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
