A regional role with a leading MNC manufacturing company electronics located in PJ (Japanese culture)
Your new company
This business of MNCs in the manufacturing sector has had a presence for more than 30 years long dated. Their products have ensured the continued confidence throughout the years of their consumers. Based in Petaling Jaya, they are now on the lookout for a Senior Executive Sourcing (Regional role) to source and negotiate with suppliers in the Asia-Pacific region.
Your new role
You will be responsible for ensuring new projects / development of new parts to meet the requirements of Asian customers. You will also be responsible for initiating and implementing continuous improvement plans for the design, quality, delivery, service and pricing. You will need to have knowledge and responsible for product development, supplier management, procurement, production management and supply in your role.
What you need to succeed
You will need to have prior experience in a company that has the Japanese culture. A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering will be very beneficial for the role. You will need 3 years experience in EMS / OEM / ODM environment. Good communication in English and Mandarin is a requirement.
