JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities of employment:
- to oversee and lead a team of inspectors and QA engineers to work on the daily routine
- to control and manage customer quality issues and internal rejects
- to study the root causes of quality problems by working with the different process owners
- to establish corrective and preventive actions appropriate accordingly
- to ensure that the quality system is updated and effective
- to perform acceptance testing on all new materials and process changes
- to monitor supplier performance / outsourcing / subcons and initiate appropriate improvement actions
- to provide the necessary support to product engineering to the sales team
- to accept other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor and above occasionally
job requirements:
- minimum degree in Polymer Technology / Mechanical engineering / Material science / Chemistry / engineering chemical or equivalent
- minimum 2 years related field
- knowledge in SPC, 8D (5-Whys, fish bone diagram, etc.), FMEA and other QC tools
- Omniscient in ISO 001 quality Systems
- technically proficient with good analytical, results-oriented, proactive, resourceful with a high degree of independence and perseverance , customer focus, drive results and good teamwork
- good command of written and spoken English and Malay. Understanding Mandarinis an added advatange
- Good command of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
